Thank you for choosing Lights Over North GA for your landscape lighting installation needs. You agree to the following terms and conditions by accessing or using our services. Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement to Terms

By requesting or purchasing landscape lighting installation services from Lights Over North GA (“the Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms form a legal agreement between you and the company, and they govern the use of our website, services, and any related products or installations.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not request or purchase services from us.

2. Services Provided

The company provides landscape lighting design, installation, maintenance, and related services. The specific services to be provided are outlined in the service agreement or proposal, which will be presented to the Customer for review and acceptance before any work begins.

3. Estimates and Pricing

  • Estimates: All service quotes and pricing estimates provided by the company are subject to change based on the complexity of the project, customer requirements, site conditions, and other factors that may arise during installation. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided unless otherwise stated.

  • Pricing: Pricing for landscape lighting installation is based on vario factors, including the scope of the project, materials, labor, and any additional services requested by the Customer. A final, agreed-upon price will be specified in the contract or proposal.

  • Additional Charges: If unexpected conditions arise during the installation process (e.g., electrical issues, site complications), additional charges may apply. These will be discussed with the Customer before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms

  • Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required upon signing the agreement or contract to secure your project and initiate the installation process. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work.

  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments by credit card, debit card, check, or bank transfer. You will be with your invoice.

  • Late Fees: In the event of delayed payment, the Company reserves the right to charge a late fee of 3% per month or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is lower.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Access to Property: The Customer must provide reasonable access to the property for the installation team, including access to electrical systems and any areas that require lighting installation. The Customer is responsible for ensuring the site is prepared and cleared for installation.

  • Permits & Approvals: The Customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or approvals for landscape lighting installation in their area. the company will assist with permitting if requested, but the Customer is ultimately responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations.

  • Accuracy of Information: The Customer agrees to provide accurate and complete information regarding the project site, preferences, and requirements to ensure the proper installation and functionality of the lighting system.

6. Warranty and Limited Liability

  • Product Warranty: All landscape lighting fixtures and equipment installed by the company are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty period and coverage details for each product will vary and can be provided upon request.

  • Installation Warranty: The company provides a 1 -year warranty on the installation workmanship. This warranty covers defects in installation and faulty equipment due to our workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by external factors, misuse, or negligence.

  • Liability: Our liability for any claims arising from the installation or maintenance of landscape lighting is limited to the amount paid by the Customer for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to property damage, loss of business, or personal injury, except where required by law.

7. Maintenance and Service Requests

  • Maintenance Services: Regular maintenance of the lighting system is recommended to ensure optimal performance. Customers can request maintenance or service at any time by contacting the company.

  • Service Requests: Any service issues or repair requests should be made in writing or through our customer service channels. The company will try to address and resolve issues as soon as possible.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations: The Customer may cancel the service agreement at any time prior to the start of installation, subject to the terms of the contract. If the installation has begun, the Customer may be required to pay for labor and materials already completed or purchased.

  • Refunds: Refunds for deposits or payments will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the Company’s cancellation policy. Custom or special-order products are non-refundable once purchased.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, logos, trademarks, and other intellectual property on our website or used in connection with our services are owned by the company or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any of this content without express written permission.

10. Privacy

We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

11. Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state or country where the services are provided.

  • Arbitration: Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court. The arbitration process will take place in Forsyth County.

12. Changes to Terms

The company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date. By continuing to use our services after changes are made, you agree to the new terms.
